For many, learning a new language can be difficult and frustrating. Regardless of how good you are at learning a new language, simply engaging in the study of one brings huge benefit to your brain. Remember, the benefit to your brain comes in the process of study not necessarily in the results of that study. However, the more you enjoy the process of studying a new language, the more you will learn. Completing a beginner course in the language of your choice is a great way to exercise your mind.
